2 Pulley Eddy Current Separator

Eddy current separators are commonly used to separate non-ferrous materials from mixed waste and other product streams.  When a magnetic rotor is turned at high rates of speed, powerful forces called eddy currents are created.

4 Pulley Eddy Current Separator

These eddy currents repel materials with varying degrees of force depending on their composition.  Thus, aluminum, copper and other metals can be separated from glass, plastic, wood, etc. creating clean product.

All of Dings eddy current separators feature a triple shell design for maximum strength and durability.  This design produces a deeper field to process more tons per hour with better recovery rates.

Dings offers three rotor sizes to meet any application requirements:

7”        Available in widths up to 48 ”

Low profile 2 pulley or heavy-duty 4 pulley models

For MRFs, scrap metal processors and other low volume

            nonferrous metal recovery

12”      Available in widths up to 48”

            Low profile 2 pulley model

For MRFs, scrap metal processors and other low volume

            nonferrous metal recovery

13”      Available in widths up to 96”

Low profile 2 pulley or heavy-duty 4 pulley models
For severe-duty applications such as auto shredding
            and high volume MRFs

For optimum recovery efficiency, Dings offers many options, including:
